Weight & Octopus Hats

First of all, I got on the scale today and I am officially down 22 lbs! Whoooot! I still have about 50 lbs to go to get to a weight that I want but don’t know if I’ll actually see. Okay! Okay! I remember the posts from earlier. I’m GOING to see that weight and it’s going to be great. Positive. I’m remaining positive!

Big things with 20lbs lost, though! I can kneel! I can do stairs without feeling like I’m dying. I have better balance. My energy levels are still pretty wah-wah-waaaaah. But that could be calorie intake, too. I’m doing the “just eat normal healthy food in real people portions” diet, which isn’t a diet. It’s just eating normally. Like normal people SHOULD and don’t.

I’m wearing a pair of pants I haven’t been able to wear for two years AND… no handles at the top of waist. You know what I’m talking about. When you CRAM yourself into a pair of jeans to say, “I’m a size 10!” but you can’t breathe and your entire muffin top is hanging over the sides? Yeah. That. I’m a comfortable size 14, though, breathing is a still a little rough when I’m sitting. I’ll get there, though.

Also! Ocotpus hats. I love the octopus and I love to crochet. So, I’ve been toying with the idea of creating one of these. However, it’s going to take a bit more time to work on!

What is the one project you’d like to work on?
