2026 Publishing Accountability Post

I’ve been steadily plotting my metrics and I have a better sense of what I can actually accomplish. So, here is the current publishing list for 2026!

As you know, I’ve done a writing challenge to get the spark re-kindled and that did a lot of great things for me.

I also re-started Real Indie Author, where I get to work with other authors to re-kindle and sustain their flames. And that has been hugely helpful.

Most of these books are already in progress. I feel confident I can keep this schedule. But I’m going to use you to keep me accountable, which is something I need. I’m also teaming up with a few other authors and we’re creating accountability circles. So, that’s going to help me, too.

Now, I realize there isn’t a lot of excitement for my Dreamland series yet, but I really think that as I share more of this story with you, you’re going to like it. It’s really amazing.

Where the Dust Still Glows - as of Mar 10, I have 1.5 chapters to finish writing. And I’m actually getting the last two chapters finished with the first draft, which is something I haven’t been able to accomplish in almost five years. So, I’m taking that as a win.

Without Villains - turned out to be a much different book than I’d intended, but I love it so much more now. And I’m feeling a lot more confident about it.

October Storms - This one has been started and it’s a great story. Thanks to Without Villains, this book is only going to get better, though. So, I’m excited to get back into it.

Where the Dreamer Breaks - This one has also been started and is the reason for Where the Dust Still Glows. There were things happening off-screen that I couldn’t quite see and now I do. And… yeah. This is such an amazingly better story thanks to the previous book. But it’s no longer a romance.
